Scan your Shopify site before you ship
Shopify hosts your store on its own infrastructure and handles HTTPS and checkout for you. What's left to check is mostly what themes and apps add to your storefront.

Common Shopify launch issues
🛡️ Security
- Shopify serves stores over HTTPS, but theme code or apps can still include http:// resources (mixed content).
- Apps sometimes inject scripts; a private key or admin token should never appear in theme code.
- Header control is limited on Shopify, so some header findings may not be changeable on your plan; ChillScan reports them so you know where you stand.
🔎 SEO
- Product and collection pages may be missing unique meta descriptions.
- Themes vary in how well they set Open Graph images and H1 headings.
⚡ Performance
- Each installed app can add JavaScript, and large HTML documents are common on rich themes.
What ChillScan checks on your Shopify site
- ✓ Secrets in theme and first-party scripts (Shopify's public Storefront API tokens are ignored)
- ✓ Mixed content and cookie flags
- ✓ Titles, meta descriptions, Open Graph and H1
- ✓ JS weight and HTML size
ChillScan reads only what a visitor's browser receives. It doesn't run JavaScript and can't scan pages behind a login or bot protection. See every check → · See a sample deep report →
